Think of the Board of Directors as the navigational system and the fuel supply for our mission.  To live up to "Empowering Educators and Igniting Excellence," the Board focuses on three core pillars:

• Strategic Oversight: They are the keepers of the "Igniting Excellence" flame, ensuring our long-term goals align with our mission and that we aren't just busy, but impactful.

• Fiscal Stewardship: They provide the "Empowerment" by managing the resources, ensuring every dollar is used effectively to give educators the tools they need to succeed.

• Ambassadorship: As our primary advocates, they bridge the gap between the nonprofit and the community, opening doors to new partnerships and championing the vital work of our educators.

Essentially, the Board provides the structure, stability, and sunshine required for our programs—and our educators—to truly thrive.
